As I enter my studio to begin creating art for Healthcare, Hospitality and Public Spaces, I enter a unique world of visualization. Only a few seconds are necessary to be compelled to go forward and integrate the necessary materials to shake off the outside confusion and chaos that surrounds my space.
The copper surface intrigues me because it is the foundation from which my works are developed. My vision is influenced by various foliages that each season brings forth. Watching what emerges during the process is exciting to me, because the end result is always unique and never the same.
I find myself returning to the solitude of the forests and wilderness for inspiration. My present environment takes me on a journey through the Santa Rosa mountains in Temecula Valley. I find this landscape an inspirational palette of sculptural forms which I hope to create.

My artwork is created for the Health Industry using (EBD) Evidence-based design which are being integrated into corporate segments. To express my unique identity and articulate my message through my visuals to ease the pain through an engaging experience. The effects of art on the healing process, on therapeutic benefit and on morale are independently assessed. The results provide data and new insights into the interactions of patients, staff and visitors with the arts in the hospital environment.
Hospitality Art is the responsibility of the artist to inspire and nurture the art process with vision, pride and attention to every detail. The look of the art must match both the ambiance and general mood of the establishment and must be given personal attention by the artist to create a friendly treatment of visitors and guests. The artist must draw on prior experiences and abundant creativity to provide the stress-free environment of the Hospitality Art that is needed in this arena.
Corporations today spend a significant amount of money on art that can inspire and motivate. Corporate art collections are used as a way to enhance their company image. When Corporate Art is properly displayed it can open up a window of opportunity for the company to discuss their involvement in the arts. Original art can also uplift the spirits of employees plus also enhance how people perceive their business. Artwork in the workplace allows for a creative environment that helps foster innovation.
